The master lines of the bethencourt approach are simple:

  1. Design projects with the least external intervention needed to produce a lasting effect in the organization.

  2. Optimize the decision maker’s SWOT analysis, calculated on the environment he moves in daily
    • on a technical or tangible level
    • and on an intangible level: culture, emotions and human dynamics

  3. Calculate the business case (costs and benefits) of the change being considered in order to assess whether:
    • It’s possible with available resources
    • It’s profitable for the business model
    • It will last in time without demanding excessive resources
